Replacement or Repair?

In some cases, minor glass chips and cracks can be repaired, but for larger damage full windshield replacement is the only safe option. Here are some tips for assessing if replacement is required for your RV or motorhome.

• Large cracks: if there cracks in your windshield that are longer than six inches or a series of cracks
• Edge Damage: chips or cracks near the edge of the windshield can compromise the structure and stability of the entire element
• Obstructed view: damage that interferes with your line of sight can warrant replacement
• Repeat repairs: if your windshield has been repaired multiple times in the past, starting fresh with a replacement might be the best long-term solution

Windshield Replacement Process

• Assessment: our RV glass technician will inspect your windshields damage to confirm that replacement is necessary. If not, they can provide a quick and easy repair.
• Removal: the damaged windshield is carefully removed using specialty tools to avoid damaging your RV
• Preparation: the frame is prepared and cleaned to ensure a flawless installation
• Installation: the new windshield is fitter and sealed using premium adhesives
• Curing: to ensure the adhesive cures properly avoid driving your RV for the period recommend by our technician
